大会简介
上海理工大学2016年第三届模拟联合国大会（USST 2016 3rd Model United Nations Conference）是由上海理工大学国际交流处（留学生办公室）主办，管理学院团委协办，上海理工大学模拟联合国社和上海理工大学大学生国际交流协会(SICA)承办。
本届模拟联合国大会面向全校招募大会主席团、与会代表、志愿者，并对与会代表进行相关学术培训。
本届模拟联合国大会拟定于2016年5月13日开幕，5月14日-5月15日正式举行。本次模拟联合国大会将设1个英文场，2个中文场、和一个主新闻中心（MPC）。

上海理工大学国际交流处(留学生办公室)是学校外国留学生的主管部门。留学生办公室的工作范围包括负责外国留学生的招生、在校留学生日常管理工作（如学生报到、签证、住宿及留学生工作安排等）、涉外事务、协调管理、学历证书电子注册发放、中国政府与上海市政府奖学金年度评审、办理签证和各种相关证明、组织社会实践和文化体验课、与国家教育部有关部门的联络并完成其下达的计划内学生的任务等。

上海理工大学模拟联合国社(USSTMUN)上海理工大学模拟联合国社在这几年里不断学习发展，关注对社员的学术培养，让上理学子通过亲身经历熟悉联合国等多边议事机构的运作方式、基础国际关系与外交知识，深入理解全球动态并有自己的独特视角，了解自身在未来可以发挥的作用。社员们的组织、策划、管理的能力，研究和写作的能力，演讲和辩论的能力，解决冲突、求同存异的能力，与他人沟通交往等多方面能力都有提高。
上海理工大学大学生国际交流协会(USSTSICA)是在留学生办公室指导下致力于师生共同推进学校教育国际化、促进学生国际化能力与素质培养的大学生组织。
大学生国际交流协会（SICA）致力于培养具有国际视野，熟悉国际文化，通晓国际规则，擅长国际交流与国际合作的国际化人才。
StrengtheningGlobal Strategic and Military Cooperation against Terrorism
Since the beginning of terrorism, the war wages on and the struggle against it continues.
The involvement of the world’s major powers, especially the intervention of the XXX and XXX and their own agendas add uncertainty to the war going on and are actually dragging rest of the world into this mess.
However,terrorism thrives in this chaos. Though Osama bin Laden was killed by U.S.Special Forces, the extremism terrorist organization of known as the ISIS is now the major player, along with a lot others, including the Boko Haram, which has sworn alliance with the ISIS.
Not long ago, ISIS executed a massacre against unarmed civilians in Paris which created a world scale panic. Then they orchestrated the suicide bombing at Brussels International Airport and put the entire world under the shadow of terrorism. However, in face of terrorism, the countries hold different attitudes. The major disputations of the countries lie in definition of terrorism and actions to take to fight terrorism, which worsen the counter terrorism situations. Only when countries work together and strengthen global strategic and military cooperation can we utterly defeat terrorism, the cancer of humanity.

Charge
Every delegate will be charged the cost of Application Forms, Conference Handbooks, Meeting Rooms, Social Event, Tea Breaks, Awards and Souvenirs for a total fee of 0 CNY. All costs will be sponsored by International Students Office(ISO).
