Important Notice for all Int'l Students
寒假假期为1月26日至2月28日，3月1日开始新学期注册，请注意查看课表，不要错过3月2号正式开课的课程。已经回国的同学请注意人身安全。
The winter vacation is going to start from 26 January to 28 February. Please check your curriculum schedule in time and do not miss your courses in new semester offically start from March 2. Students who plan to go out to travel please pay attention to the personal security. Do not trust strangers and be wary of being cheated by strangers.
对于假期未回国的同学，在中国期间，请严格遵守中国法律，不得酒后驾车，不得驾车超速行驶，不得酗酒闹事，严禁与他人斗殴闹事或无故殴打他人，但凡有扰乱公共秩序行为的,尚不够刑事处罚的，处3日至30日看守所拘留，后果自负！
Please abide by the Chinese Law during your stay in China and DO NOT abuse alcohol,fights between the drunk are now being investigated as criminal case;Avoid drive under the influence, Avoid alcohol-fuelled incident with others,DO NOT curse or beat others,Avoid assault of others, anyone who has the above behavior of disrupting public orders shall be arrested or detained(three to thirty days).All at your own risk!
另，请在留学生办公室规定的时间内按时返校报到注册, 注册期限为2015年3月1日至3月13日。
未按规定日期报到注册者，终止其奖学金。
Currently all USST enrolled degree students & students continue the language programs: please enroll and finish your registration on the designated date ISO has announced, from March 1 to March 13, 2015.
The scholarship will be terminated after the due date.
1)请随身携带护照复印件、学生证，并注意自己的签证有效期。
2)认真遵守交通法规，不得酒后驾驶（注意：在中国实行右侧行驶）。
3)掌握基本的交通安全知识。
4)增强自我保护意识，不骑摩托车和超标电动车（最高车速超过20公里每小时为超标），不坐摩的和无牌或超载车辆。
5)夜晚在光线充足的地方行走，远离小巷。请尽量不要夜不归宿。
6)请使用正规网站购买出行的车票、机票等。
7)出行前请告诉你的亲朋好友告诉别人你要去哪里，让他们知晓你的大致行程，以便联络。
8)请在单独行走时不要听耳机，因为这会大大降低你听到威胁临近的能力，同时这也告诉了盗贼，在你的口袋或者包里有一样可以偷的东西。
1.Please carry a copy of your passport and your student card wherever you go, pay attention to your visa validity.
2.Respect and obey local traffic regulations，DO NOT drive under the influence (note: driving on the right side in China).
3.Master some basic knowledge of traffic laws.
4.Enhance awareness of self-protection; do not ride motorcycles and electric vehicles with an excessive speed (maximum speed is 20 km / h); do not take unlicensed or overloaded vehicles.
5.Walk or jog in well-lighted areas, stay away from alleys. Please try to avoid staying outside for the whole night.
6.Use a verified website to purchase air or train tickets.
7.Tell someone where you are going and when you will return.
8.Do not listen to earphones while out alone, this minimizes your ability to hear an approaching threat, it also advertises to a would-be thief that you may have a desirable item to attempt to steal.

根据学校2015年寒假放假通知，体育活动中心、室外网球场、健身房假期开放安排如下:
1. 2015年1月26日—2月26日体育活动中心、室外网球场实行收费开放，其中2015年2月18日—2月26日春节休息停开。
2. 2015年1月26日—2月26日健身房停止开放
3. 2015年2月27日起所有场馆恢复正常开放

根据学校统筹安排，兹定于2月4日举行2015年寒假留校学生春节联欢会、2月17日举行2015年师生共聚年夜饭活动。现将有关事宜通知如下：

根据学校寒假的假期安排，现将各校区食堂、门诊在假期中开放情况通知如下：
军工路516号校区：
1、食堂：第一食堂正常营业（1月26日—2月25日）；
第二食堂：1月29日—2月25日放假，2月26日正常营业；
新世纪餐厅：1月28日—2月25日放假，2月26日正常营业；
第五食堂：1月28日—2月25日放假，2月26日正常营业；
咪昵餐厅：1月30日—2月25日放假，2月26日正常营业。

根据学校2015年寒假放假安排的通知，为方便师生寒假期间办理和咨询相关业务，现将教务处寒假值班安排公布如下：

其它注意事项
1、到正规网站购票，购物一定要有第三方担保
如果在中国国内旅游，请各位留学生到去哪儿、携程、12306等正规的网站购买机票和火车票。网络购物一定要采用支付宝等第三方担保交易，以免上当受骗。
2、注意安全用电
寒假期间，为避免火灾，禁止在留学生公寓房间内使用电磁炉、电饭锅、微波炉等，请到公共厨房使用。更不要在寝室使用明火。
另外，上海市禁止随意燃放烟火鞭炮，请各位留学生同学严格遵守规定，不要随意燃放烟花鞭炮，在中国过一个美好的春节。
3、请谨慎前往几内亚、塞拉利昂、利比里亚
寒假期间请谨慎前往几内亚、塞拉利昂、利比里亚这三个国家，对有入境前21天在这三个国家旅行过的返校老生，将要按照中国检验检疫局的要求进行隔离观察。
